STUDENT FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. I have lunch during my lesson. What should I do?
Pack your lunch for school that day. Bring your lunch, instrument, and folder directly to your lesson and you can eat there. If you forgot to pack your lunch, go immediately to the cafeteria, politely go to the front of the line, and purchase a quick and easy meal that you can eat in the band room. You'll listen to the lesson and follow along until you're ready to play. It's a good idea to bring water!
2. I forgot my instrument and I have a lesson and/or band today. What should I do?
Come see Ms. Gagliardi IMMEDIATELY when you get into school in the morning. If you have a parent/guardian at home, you may use our phone to call and see if he/she can bring it in for you. If not, you are still expected to attend your lesson, and you can borrow an instrument for that lesson. Make sure you don't make this a habit! Check your lesson schedule every day.
3. I am going to be absent on the day of my lesson. What should I do?
Come and see Ms. Gagliardi as soon as possible regarding your absence. We will work together to reschedule your lesson for another day during that week with a different lesson group. Know that the earlier you inform Ms. Gagliardi of your absence, the more likely we are to find a quick and easy solution. Ms. Gagliardi will give you a pass to remind you of when your lesson is rescheduled for that week.
